Wines of Muscadet, Saumur,&Welcombe Hills Vineyard Tasting at the Flowering of the Vine Ceremony
Jun 21, 2007 (Thu): The Flowering of the Vine Ceremony (Bless this Bunch) ~ the date is to be confirmed ~ this is an event held every year by the the Ordre des Chevaliers Bretvin (Muscadet Wine Order) and the Commanderie du Taste Saumur (Saumur Wine Order) in an English Vineyard. This year it is to held at the Welcombe Hill Vineyard, Snitterfield, CV37 0QB. There will be short religous Blessing of the Vines, followed by a tasting of the wines from Welcombe Hill Vineyard and a representation of wines from the Muscadet and Saumur region.
